Monhill Farm, LLC is owned and operated by Dr. Bernardo Mongil, III, who comes from three (3) generations of horsemen (Hall of Fame Trainers included). Dr. Mongil is a licensed veterinarian who is specially trained in equine reproduction and neo-natal care. His specialty is helping hard to conceive problem mares, resulting in annual conception rate of 92-100%. Dr. Mongil’s extensive knowledge of pedigree analysis is an added benefit to his Clients in the management of their equine portfolio, as well as helping plan their matings.

Monhill Farm’s approach is based on a foundation of hard work, honesty, and attention to detail. We pride ourselves on the care our horses receive. Each and every horse has their feeding program tailored to their own specific needs by Dr. Mongil and our nutritional consultant.

From the time a foal is born our commitment to perfection is demonstrated by the attention that we give both the mare and the foal. Dr. Mongil, attends each foaling and monitors mare and foal throughout the labor, as well as the rest of their stay at the farm. Each horse is handled daily, and is treated as an individual so as to encourage optimum growth and development in order for it to reach its full potential.
